Role of corner flow separation in unsteady dynamics of hypersonic flow over a double wedge geometry

This study investigates the origin and sustenance of self induced oscillations shock structures in a hypersonic flow over double wedge configuration. Previously, various researchers have considered configuration for inviscid with variations different inflows as well geometric parameters such inflow Mach number , angles, lengths. Few recently published articles reveal an unsteady physics involved viscous large second angles. However, reason sustained is not completely clear. The present work seeks out to investigate low enthalpy aft angles length ratios.In current study, at 7 fore angle 30{\deg} considered. An improved version rhoCentralFoam solver OpenFOAM used grid resolutions separation region interaction region. corroborates observation from previous literature improvement range which results periodic oscillation. also suggests that unsteadiness becomes possible when incidence proximity expansion corner consequence ratios(L1/L2) or ({\theta}2). Flow can still be steady if far ahead corner.
